10 Spring Must-Have's
Do you ever Spring clean your closet? At Shepherd’s we love to do just that! As the winter chill thaws and blossoms start to bloom, it's essential to have chic, versatile pieces that can accommodate the unpredictable weather while keeping you looking stylish and feeling good. In this blog post, we will explore 10 must-have items for the Spring season.
A Lightweight Jacket
When the weather is chilly but not cold enough for a heavy coat, a lightweight jacket is the perfect mid-season piece. Opt for a jacket in a neutral color so it can be paired with almost anything in your wardrobe. The key is to find a jacket that is light enough for warmer days but can still offer some protection against a sudden Spring shower or wind.
Waterproof Boots
Spring is notorious for its sporadic rain showers. Waterproof boots are a must-have to keep your feet dry and comfortable during unexpected downpours. Choose a pair that is both stylish and practical so you can strut your stuff in any weather.
Plain White Tee
A plain white tee is a staple in everyone's wardrobe, regardless of the season. It's versatile, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down. Pair it with jeans for a casual look or tuck it into a skirt for a more polished outfit.
Sandals
As the temperature starts to rise, it's time to set your feet free with some stylish sandals. Whether you prefer a classic slide or a strappy gladiator, sandals are a Spring essential that add a breezy touch to any outfit.
Denim Capris
Denim capris are the epitome of a great transitional piece for Spring. They're casual enough for a day out but can also be dressed up with a nice top and some stylish accessories. Bonus points if you find one in an unexpected colour like pink!
A Jean Jacket
A timeless piece that adds a casual-cool vibe to any outfit. It's also the perfect layering piece for those cooler spring mornings and evenings. Choose from classic denim blue, to black, beige, even white! Any neutral will work.
A Bold Purse
Spring is the perfect time to experiment with color, and a colourful purse is a great way to incorporate a pop of color into your outfit. Choose a purse in a vibrant hue or a fun pattern to make a stylish statement.
Blazer
A blazer is a must-have for those Spring days when you need to look a bit more polished. Whether it's for a business meeting or a date, a blazer can easily elevate any outfit. Try a lightweight fabric like linen or cotton to keep you comfortable as the temperature rises.
Flood Pants
Flood pants, or pants that end just above the ankle, are a fashionable and functional choice for Spring. They're a chic option for those rainy days when you don't want your pants dragging on the wet ground, and they hit at the exact right place to emphasize the narrowest part of the lower leg!
Short-Sleeved Dress
Last but certainly not least, a short-sleeved dress is a non-negotiable Spring essential. It's easy to throw on, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Choose a dress in a floral print to embrace the full spirit of the season.
With these 10 Spring must-haves in your wardrobe, you'll be ready to tackle whatever the season throws at you in style. Happy Spring shopping!
There’s something so comforting about slipping into an oversized plain T-shirt after a long day. It’s like wearing a cozy hug! Plus, you can never go wrong with a classic white tee – it goes with everything.
During one “show” Stephanie had asked what other topics of interest we might like to see. I would LOVE to see how the Shepherds fashionistas organise their closets ( think the wonderful Rochelle and Elaine!) how one chooses the makeup palette so that once the outfit is chosen, one can simply reach for makeup/lipstick ect that effortlessly finish’s one’s look. Perhaps a segment on what Theresa would wear for a day at home, completing chores, as she is always dressed in such a delightful way..always presentable!! What does one wear when vacuuming! 😁😁
I love everything you do! I would have liked to see the new short vests with the Trudy dress.
I am finding the advice from shepherds is very valuable. One of the best things was to figure out your footwear almost before the rest of the outfit. I cannot take advantage of most of it that’s offered because the sizes are not large enough. I was wondering if anything could be done.
Thanks for this! I have all in my closet! I am also still ready for Spring 2024…Now to organize it. The question is where do I start? Colour? Design? My favourite item?
