Administrative Assistant 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and distribute regular and email correspondence and other content and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay messages
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities, identify issues and collaborate with the team to support new eCommerce initiatives
  • Prepare, key in, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related materials including website content
  • Assist in creating, editing and publishing content on the website including photography, photo editing, graphics, shoppable videos
  • Assist in product and inventory tracking to ensure the website is accurate
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
  • Greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position, preferably in retail and/or eCommerce
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, flexibility
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
  • Accept feedback with a positive attitude
  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Experience with merchandising and inventory control tools including Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google and similar tools
  • Good English language skills
  • Post-secondary education in one or more related fields is desirable

Inventory Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assign, make and review the ordering of purchases and receiving of shipments from vendors
  • Exercise inventory control of the on-line and on-site warehouses, including distributing and maintaining inventories of products, and restocking the on-site retail show room
  • Oversee and control customer order fulfillment
  • Ensure smooth inventory control using Shopify and other related tools
  • Take or recommend measures to ensure compliance with standards, and adjust and optimize inventory levels in the virtual warehouse and on-site, providing reports on slow-movers, high return rate products, potential overstocks, sales reports etc. Prepare and submit reports to senior management on a regular and exceptional basis
  • Identify and resolve various problems and complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements concerning inventory, restocking, and order fulfillment control
  • Provide guidance and training to inventory staff to ensure smooth inventory control operations

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a similar position, preferably in retail and/or eCommerce
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, flexibility
  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Skilled in using Shopify
  • Proficiency in optimizing inventory control results using Shopify
  • Other analytical tools
  • Skilled in using Excel and databases
  • University degree with concentration in areas related to
  • commerce, business management, economics
  • Good English language skills
